Community of Hope Inc

Right now, because of Community of Hope and its faithful supporters - a recently homeless family in DC has quality and compassionate healthcare, warm and safe beds for their young children, and the opportunity to develop much-needed job skills to find employment and ensure their family's long-term stability.

Community of Hope provides healthcare to low-income and underserved individuals in three health centers. In 2013, over 7,100 patients received medical, dental, behavioral health and birthing services.

We also work to end homelessness for families in DC, serving them with housing and supportive services focused on a long-term solution to their homeless situation. Last year, 354 families received compassionate, empowering services along the homeless continuum of care. In addition to housing, they received case management, youth mentoring, and assistance with employment, wellness, and their housing search.

In 2013, we launched a healthcare customer services skills training aimed at providing soft skills to people seeking employment as entry level healthcare workers.

For our patients and clients, we are provide more than a roof over their heads, more than a prescription - we are HOPE for DC's low-income, homeless, and underserved families.
