Companion Animal Alliance

CAA was established in 2011 to save and improve the lives of animals in the Baton Rouge shelter.  We believe that we are a community of compassionate animal lovers and that none of us wants to kill animals simply because they do not have a home.  CAA works to reduce the number of pets entering the shelter, to treat them humanely while they are with us, and to find adoption homes, foster homes, rescues opportunites, and lost owners for as many of them as possible.  We could not do what we do without an active group of volunteers and supporters.  Thank you!  We also thank the many families in Baton Rouge and beyond who have adopted their great pets from CAA.  Come see us when you're looking for your next four-legged family member!
