Compas De Nicaragua

Our mission is to improve lives and promote cultural exchange through service trips and sustainable community development. 

Compas supports a group of 40 women called Women in Action.  WIA live one of the most improverished neighborhoods of Managua, Nicaragua.  Through incredible odds, these mostly single mothers have organized health, education and income generating projects that are improving the lives of thier families. 

Compas also supports a 50 member farming cooperative in La Paz, Carazo called "Brothers and Sisters in Union". The BSU cooperative works on organic farming, coffee production, reforestation, and bio-gas cooking systems. 

Compas also organzes several service trips each year which brings volunteers to Nicaragua to work side by side our partners on community projects.  For more information, please visit our website. www.compas1.org
