About Us: It started at a kitchen table in 1983. Our founders: Marion Brown, Charlotte Gunn, Helen Hodges and Barbara Tucker began what is now ConnectionsPlus Healthcare + Hospice. In 2023, Rockbridge Area Hospice and Mountain Regional Hospice joined together under a new name: ConnectionsPlus Healthcare+Hospice

As the only local non-profit hospice, we ensure that all those in our community who need hospice care receive it. Our services are covered by Medicare, Medicaid, private health insurance and our Good Neighbor Fund. Regardless of ability to pay, if a patient qualifies for our services, we will care for them.

Service Area: ConnectionsPlus Healthcare + Hospice cares for patients and their families across all of Rockbridge County, Lexington City, Buena Vista City, Alleghany County, Clifton Forge, Covington City, Bath County, Hot Spings and their neighboring communities.
