Cookie's Angels The Michelle Butler-Blue Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization created in 2021 in honor of Michelle Butler-Blue. While Michelle's life was not long lived, her loving spirit and kindness for others is remembered daily through our foundation. Our vision is to have a community that is free from hunger. Through our mission, we feed the unhoused, elderly and disabled, to provide hope to individuals who find themselves in a moment of hopelessness. Michelle was full of life and loved celebrating special moments with good food, family and friends. She believed food was good for the soul and often created moments to bring people together. Over the pass four years , we have worked to conquer hunger through numerous outreach efforts. Those efforts have provided food for the bodies and souls of people. In fact ,we have served nearly 5000 people through community outreach and partnership's. While our capacity is limited through financial constraints, our vision is unrestrained,with support from people like you on Give Nola Day,we know that our outreach efforts can be more impactful on the community. We aspire to create a community space where hungry people can get a free , quality,fresh cooked meal daily, hot shower and clean clothes. Your support towards these efforts would be a great investment into our community as we continue our commitment of improving service to our vulnerable communities who find themselves unhoused and hungry.
