Burleson County Cops4Kids

A nonprofit organization

The Burleson County Cops for Kids (BC Cops4Kids) program is a 501C non-profit organization founded in 2020. Through private funding from funds raised by private donors, members, and club sponsored events, it is estimated by county and ISD educational leadership BC Cops4Kids reaches out to more than 1500 disadvantaged children in need, especially children in foster care and those that are overlooked in our community due to circumstances not in their control.

Of the more than 2700 enrolled kids in county ISD's, BC C4K served over 1500 kids in need. 2021, thru mostly private donations, 2 major fund raisers, and member contributions, county leaders and law enforcement raised over $20,000 in county to provide school supplies, new clothes and durable medical goods not provided by state agencies (e.g., CPS, Texas CASA, etc...).

Testimonials

As a retired resident in Burleson County, and being directly engaged as a senior advisor for BCC4K, I have personally seen the impact of gifts for kids that would other wise have started school without clothes, school supplies and in some cases food, other than what they had in a standard trash bag. Most don't have enough to eat, are in at risk situations where law enforcement provides meals and/or groceries, and provided medical necessities that CASA and CPS requested support as medical devices not covered under any state programs, required to aid in a child's disability.
