CORA is the only agency in San Mateo County solely dedicated to helping those affected by intimate partner abuse. From counseling, to emergency housing, to legal assistance, our services are designed to provide safety, support, and healing.

CORA provides free and confidential emergency, intervention and prevention services, including:

Crisis Intervention - From our 24-hour support hotline to our emergency safe houses, we provide counseling, support and shelter for those affected by intimate partner abuse.

Family Support - We support survivors and their children with individual and family counseling, parental support groups, after-school art and enrichment programs, safety planning and more.

Legal Services - Court systems can be confusing, but our legal advisors can offer advice, referrals, and representation on many common legal matters related to intimate partner abuse.

Outreach - Through our workshops, events and programs, we strive to create a community where intimate partners are treated with respect, and where any form of relationship abuse is not tolerated

CORA is a multicultural agency committed to serving victims/survivors, regardless of age, ethnicity/race, financial status, language, sexual orientation, immigration status, religion, or gender. All services are available in English and Spanish, and most services are available in additional languages as well.
