Cornerstone Christian School Incorporated

CCS is a college preparatory school, offering a quality education toward a Biblical worldview, equipping students to glorify God through intentional lives.

That's the official mission statement of Cornerstone Christian School.  Beyond the mission statement, however, we know that education can only be called successful when it contributes to students' ability to lead intentional, Christ-oriented lives.

We opened our doors in 1997, and since 2002 we've watched 10 graduating classes move on to fulfilling careers after high school; those who choose college are competitive for scholarship dollars, earning over $3 million in scholarships thus far.  

At CCS, however, we strive to make sure that students are never reduced to a number--a scholarship total or an ACT score.  Our students are also active in community service as part of our focus on experiential learning; they're given opportunities to learn things that no curriculum, no matter how well designed, could conjure up in a classroom environment.  Whether it's working to repair the facilities of the Spirit of Hope Youth Ranch, organizing and distributing over 55 truckloads of tornado relief, or doing something as simple as sealing the decks at the Children's Harbor, Chargers are encouraged to discuss their faith in words and put feet to their faith in deeds.
