Cosmos

Each summer, an amazing group of talented young students in grades 8-12 attend the COSMOS summer program at UC Davis, UC Irvine, UC San Diego and UC Santa Cruz.  They have the opportunity to work with renowned faculty, researchers, and scientists in state-of-the-art facilities while exploring advanced STEM topics far beyond the courses usually offered in California high schools.  Through challenging curriculum that is both hands-on and lab intensive, COSMOS fosters its students' interests, skills, and awareness of educational and career options in STEM fields.

Your support will help cover a full scholarship for a student from a low-income family (as defined by eligibility for the National School Lunch Program) in San Mateo, Santa Clara and San Benito counties attend any of the four  UC programs.
