Who We Are 

Generation NOW is the only organization in Greater Cincinnati providing all young professionals world-class networking, mentorship, and career training. 

What We Do 

Through a unique mix of programming, including access to resources for start-up business training, professional development, networking, panel discussions, and mentorship, Generation NOW is building the foundation for a diverse and inclusive workforce of young leaders.

• Our Back to Work Initiative is a collaborative plan with partnership companies to provide training and career pathways for job seekers.

• Our Speaker Series and Skill Development Trainings help prepare high school students as they consider their possible career paths.

• Our LinkedIn Networking Happy Hours offer world-class networking opportunities to young professionals each month. Our Generation NOW Awards highlight the achievements of young professionals throughout our region.

• Our workshops and courses cover preparing for the next job or career advancement opportunities, as well as the value of and access to mentorships. 

Why We Do It

Generation NOW believes that all young professionals deserve the opportunity to thrive in a workforce community within Greater Cincinnati that welcomes new ideas, celebrates diversity, and commits to an equitable landscape for leadership and advancement. There is transformational power in professional development.

Our History

What began in 2015 as a happy hour event for young professionals to meet and mingle has grown into a major networking community. Generation NOW holds more than 20 training and social events per year that provide opportunities for attendees to learn from and with representatives from major area corporations and organizations. We were awarded a 2016 proclamation from Mayor John Cranley for our Believe Youth Conference. 

Our Partners

Generation NOW has created partnerships and sponsorships with such companies as P&G, Nielsen Company, Fifth Third Bank, Kroger, RDI, and the Regional Chamber of Commerce to provide professional development and training opportunities for our young professionals. 

Our Impact 

Over the past five years, Generation NOW has trained and educated more than 5,000 young professionals, and has honored the achievements of more than 500 influential leaders who are blazing trails that are focused on creating a brighter future for Greater Cincinnati.

Generation NOW During COVID-19 

The health and safety of our young professionals are paramount. Currently, we have moved all of our programs and events to a virtual platform, including our Generation NOW Awards, Emerging Leaders Summit, and Mentorship 101 course. Once it has been deemed safe to resume gathering in person, we will proceed cautiously, following all necessary guidelines and precautions.  

What’s Next

Generation NOW is currently developing additional workshops and courses for young professionals for 2021, as well as a #BackToWork Career Pathways training program and new Membership Club set to launch next year. Eventually, our program will reach beyond Greater Cincinnati, as we establish chapters nationwide.
