Did you know that the tuition we receive annually from our CLP families covers most, but not all the operating expenses for the center? CLP is responsible for making up the difference through State and City partnerships and grant programs, fundraisers, and generous contributions from you. Unfortunately, the reduction of these additional sources of funding and the increase in operating expenses has increased the financial challenges that face CLP.

We know that in this difficult economy, every dollar takes on greater importance. Our goal is to continue to provide the highest quality child care program. This is why we are appealing to you today to ask you for your financial support. This year our goal is to reach $5000 and to have all CLP families participate, whether you can contribute $10 or $500. If we reach our goal we will be able to purchase much needed items (e.g. replacement of older lofts and shelving, updating classroom computers. etc.) and to be able to continue offering our enrichment programs.

Please think about the times when your child came home and sang a song to you that he or she learned at school, counted to 10 in Spanish, or did a yoga pose on the living room floor. All of these experiences are part of CLP's enrichment programming. Your ongoing support will ensure that these memories continue to be created day after day, year after year.
