The Crescent Foundation, Inc. was created by the Tampa Alumni Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., a professional civic and social service organization, in March 2005.

The Foundation promotes education and social programs targeting young males between 13 - 18 designed to instill positive reinforcement, scholastic standards along with a broad exposure to professional career choices.  The Foundation achieves its mission through private donations in addition to corporate and grant funding.
