Organization Description:

The Cross New Hampshire Adventure Trail is an 83 mile mostly off-road bicycle route that travels across the state from the Connecticut River across the northern flanks of the White Mountains into Bethel, Maine. Rail trails, recreation paths, dirt roads, quiet paved backroads and a section of secondary road have been stitched together to form an enjoyable bicycling route across the state. Flora and fauna, mountain views, river valleys, wetlands, forests, human history and railroad history all follow alongside this route. The Cross New Hampshire Adventure Trail is a continuation of the Cross Vermont Trail, a 91 mile multi-surface route from Lake Champlain to the Connecticut River.

Organization Mission Statement:

It is the mission of the Cross New Hampshire Adventure Trail to be an established, mapped and signed, pleasurable mostly off-road bicycle route across the North Country of New Hampshire. A cross state, long distance bicycle route can attract multi-day travel by cyclo-tourists. This route adds another facet to the many recreational opportunities in the northern regions of New Hampshire.
