Crosspoint Church

A mission team from the church went to La Gonave in March 2013 to help support construction work on the hospital on La Gonave.  The Wesleyan Hospital has been and continues to be the only hospital on the island of La Gonave and has been part of the community for over 50 years. The new Hospital will be much better equipped to serve the island's 120,000 residents.  

Upon our return from Haiti, the team had a heart to help the hospital raise the remaining funds needed to finish construction.  Several members of the team have agreed to run a half-marathon (13.1 miles) to help raise those funds.

Did You Know: While the new hospital build was led by a project manager from the UK, the hospital was completely Haitian built (plus a few friends who came in to help here and there) with the vast majority of materials found and purchased in Haiti.This helped support the Haitians and their local economy.
