Crowleys Ridge College

Crowley’s Ridge College is private four-year Christian college in Paragould, Arkansas. The college is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and is a member of The North Central Association. CRC currently offers 11 degrees and has an open admissions policy and welcomes students of all religions and backgrounds. CRC's current enrollment for 2015-16 is a record high of 226 students from 11 states. 

In addition to traditional classroom learning, more than 40 online classes are currently available. Students are also enrolled according to their entrance testing scores in remedial classes to increase their ability to make good grades at the college level, plus CRC's tutoring program assists students outside of regular classroom work.

CRC provides more than $735,000 in student scholarships each year. In addition to a collegiate athletic program, other student life activities include drama, intramural sports, retreats, choral music, backpacking, canoeing, ski outings and many other campus life events.

Crowley’s Ridge College has recently launched a $250,000 capital needs fundraising campaign that we’re calling “Rise to the Challenge.”

July 2015, our board of trustees approved the building of a new student housing facility to help address CRC’s increased enrollment numbers. The new facility, Honor Housing II will again be an apartment style complex. This will be a 14 bed unit, similar to the Joe A. and Wanda Hall Johnson Honor Housing built in 2012 that you see a picture of on this page. CRC expects to continue adding other degrees, which we believe will help us to keep increasing our future enrollment. It is critical that we build this Honor Housing II apartment complex and have it ready for our students by the fall semester of 2016.

This Honor Housing II apartment complex will cost an estimated $250,000.

That’s slightly more than the Johnson Honor Housing complex, because this Honor Housing II apartment complex is larger and has more beds. We are setting a goal of raising $100,000 by June 30, 2016. Meeting this goal can put CRC in a position to qualify for a $150,000 challenge grant gift, which is 60% of the $250,000 needed to completely pay for this new student housing facility.
