Community Services of Nevada-Csnv

CSNV began as an organization of volunteers who met once a week in the spring of 1996 to discuss the benefits of establishing a community development corporation within their neighborhood. Working closely with the Local Initiative Support Corporation (LISC) development team, community residents and social services providers organized to change the quality of life for families and children in the neighborhood by strengthening communities through private and public sector investments.

In 2002
the agency completed the first housing development in the east side of town.  A  4.5 million dollar, 40 unit development for low-to-moderate income families.

Currently,the agency endeavors to build communities by assisting homeowners in distress on the verge of loosing their home due to the economy downturn as well as providing down payment assistance to first time homebuyers.
