$5,000 Goal

The California State University Long Beach, Long Beach Trauma Recovery Center (LBTRC) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that is part of the CSULB Research Foundation

LBTRC is a nationally recognized program that removes barriers to care and helps victims recover from the devastating aftermath of interpersonal violence.  The LBTRC serves some of Long Beach’s most vulnerable citizens: victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, shootings, stabbings and family members of homicide victims.

The LBTRC has been providing no-cost comprehensive case management and  mental health services to Long Beach and the surrounding community for 10 years  . Our major goal is to help low-income, racially and ethnically diverse, and vulnerable persons to seek therapy to heal from traumatic events so that they do not have long term negative health, occupational, and functional problems.
