Idaho’s only family –friendly comedy show.

There aren’t a lot of options in the area where you can get a comedy fix and bring the whole family. Funny enough for people of all ages, CSz Boise’s flagship product ComedySportz has been entertaining America since 1984, and here in Boise since 2012.

CSz Boise uses local people. In any given match, you will see players from Boise, Nampa, Meridian, Caldwell and a variety of other places...people from your community.

Improv helps build life skills

Children are the best improvisers with the best imaginations. CSz Boise and its kids programs help strengthen skills to actively listen, communicate verbally and non-verbally, be open to ideas, respond quickly in the moment, use imagination, collaborate, effectively use emotions, be more engaging, be flexible to change and be more hyperaware of what’s going on around us. 

From elementary school to high school to adulthood, CSz Boise can teach skills to last a lifetime.

And develops skills to help with life.

In 2014, CSz Boise teamed up with A Social Place, an organization to improve the lives of individuals on the Autism spectrum.

The skills developed in learning improvisation can be used for more than just performing. Research is showing that these skills can help in many areas of social development, whether it is working with people on the Autism spectrum, teenagers classified as “Juvenile Delinquents”,  parolees to help reduce recidivism, and such much more. CSz Boise will be leading the way in using  improv to make people Be a Better You!

We help those that help others.

So far in 2015, CSz Boise  has provided the entertainment for fundraisers for Habitat for Humanity and the Y.M.C.A.

The property in which the CSz Arena was located was put up for sale, forcing us to find a new location. The unanticipated cost we are going to incur to build a new theater is going to take a huge bite out of our operating budget, putting what we hope to accomplish on hold.
