The program has been the Verde Valley since 2005 and has just changed names this October to NARJ.

We work with Juvenile Probation and all law enforcement agencies, taking referral of mostly, first time juvenile offenders for any non-felony crimes such as: shoplifting, bullying, domestic violence, vandelism and runaways. Our RAD program also takes any drug or underage alcohol offense.

Parents must agree to participate for the offender to qualify. The offender also must take responiblity for his or her actions. A contract is written that is good for 60 days. If not completed in that time the offender goes to probation for stiffer consequences.

Offender completion rates and non-recidivism rates are 88%

Victim, community and offender satisfaction rates are 100%

"Restorative Justice addresses our yearning for community, to feel closeness, connectedness, and intimacy with others, especially those who live nearby. RJ requires that we open our hearts to each other and tell our truth."
