For 37 years Cutchins Programs for Children & Families has created a small, interpersonal, radically respectful environment in which the long-term impact of trauma, emotional, and behavioral challenges can be recognized and treated; and where families and children can find a caring, nonjudgmental and supportive atmosphere. Our residential, outpatient, and special education services provide children and families struggling with the effects of trauma and mental illness in a sanctuary of safety and love

Cutchins has always stood for protecting childhood, one child at a time. We continue to provide exceptional outpatient care, residential treatment, in-home care, and alternative schooling to children and adolescents with severe emotional disturbance.  In an ever changing environment of children’s mental health, Cutchins is taking a leadership role to orient care and services around the needs of families and not the other way around.  The world is hungry for the soulful kindness and clinical sophistication for which Cutchins is known. Our vision is to proactively promulgate these attributes into the world to create a skilled, loving, non-stigmatized community for those most in need.
