CyberUp

A nonprofit organization

CyberUp is a 501c3 created to cultivate the cybersecurity talent pipeline. The organization was founded outside the gates of Scott Air Force Base in 2016 by a group of community leaders committed to growing the cybersecurity workforce in St. Louis and beyond. CyberUp's short and long-term approach through our programs, PowerUp for youth and LevelUp for adults ensure our country will have the cybersecurity talent needed to protect our networks for today and tomorrow.

About Our Programs

With a dramatic increase in technology accessibility and student reliance on Chromebooks and tablets to do their schoolwork comes a need for more robust cybersecurity awareness for youth. Do your students know what information is safe or unsafe to give away online? Do they know what to do if they're sent a suspicious link? CyberUp's PowerUp Program partners with cybersecurity experts and local elementary and middle schools to provide a fun, hands-on experience for students to learn about the Internet and how to stay safe while they use it. Each session for elementary and middle school students will include hands-on activities. We cover Online Safety Basics, Digital Citizenship, Cyberbullying, how the Internet works, and more.

CyberUp's LevelUp Training and Apprenticeship prepares individuals for high-demand, high-paying apprenticeship roles. CyberUp strives to make the cybersecurity industry a better reflection of the world we live in.

CyberUp's Impact:

Engaged over 10,000 youth through outreach.
Inspired over 200 educators to teach students cybersecurity.
Trained, supported, and started over 500 individuals' cybersecurity careers.
