For over 10 years, Cycles of Change has been building an award-winning network of neighborhood and school-based bicycle education and distribution programs throughout the East Bay.

On any given day, you might run into Cycles of Change at Bret Harte Elementary, where participants in an after school bike club learn how to fix their own bikes; teaching safe biking skills as part of our Safe Routes to School program, or helping you find the bike you've always dreamed of at the Bikery, our collectively run community bike shop in Fruitvale.

You might also run into one of over 750 low-income adults who are riding bikes they got from the Bike Go Round.  Since 2009, Bike Go Round participants have taken part in a 5 hour bike skills training, and then left with a fully functional bike, lock, helmet, lights, and more!  You can read about how Bike Go Round has impacted people's lives here and here.

SUPPORT BIKE DOWN 2015!

This September, 25 riders are taking part in Bike Down around Lake Tahoe!  We are trying to raise $20,000 to support Cycles' community programs. Donate today! Check out the fundraising team here.
