Children Youth and Family Collaborative is a nationally recognized organization serving over 5,000 foster and at risk youth at 39 sites in Los Angeles, Compton, Pomona and Montebello. CYFC utilizes a holistic approach to enhance the academic and social development of participants through educational support, mentoring and enrichment opportunities. We make the connection between disadvantaged youth and a caring community through partnerships with all 5 major Los Angeles colleges and universities, the Los Angeles, Compton, Montebello and Pomona unified school districts, community based organizations, faith based organizations and local law enforcement.

CYFC believes and has achieved many accomplishments, including:

1.  Increase the academic performance of foster and at risk youth
2.  Increase high school graduation rate of at risk and foster youth through tutoring
3.  Increase school attendance
4.  Increase foster youth acceptance into a post secondary education
5. Increase participation of parents in their children's school community
