DESK (Donate Educational Supplies for Kids) San Angelo

DESK volunteers & sponsors work to provide school supplies for students in the San Angelo ISD for grades K thru 12 who cannot afford the supplies with their own means. Our mission statement - "No Child Deserves an Empty Desk!"

Over 60% of the SAISD students are on some type of free or assisted lunch program. These are the children we will target to provide them with their necessary school supplies.
DESK does several fundraisers during the year including a golf tournament, an online auction and a supply drive at all the local Walmarts to raise money and gather supplies for the student's needs. Each school is set up to provide the needed supplies when requested by the parent/guardian of the student without any questions asked. Each school also has a closet for their teachers to access when a student is needing some type of supply. Please remember to refer anyone in need of supplies to their school counselor. Hopefully we will continue to grow and be able to provide assistance to everyone in the SAISD and eventually to those students in our outlying communities who need assistance. We have been able to provide over $1,000,000.00 in school supplies for students in need in the SAISD.
