DO IT FOR ME

A nonprofit organization

DO IT FOR ME is a nonprofit organization that endeavors to raise HIV awareness in New Orleans, LA with a particular focus on Black women and girls. We pursue this mission through three distinct pillars: Inspiring Individuals, Educational Empowerment, and Connecting Community. Our goal is to empower individuals to make healthy and informed choices that enhance their physical, emotional, and mental well-being.

DO IT FOR ME (DIFM) has partnered with several churches throughout New Orleans to conduct educational workshops on HIV and AIDS awareness and prevention. DIFM hosts its annual HIV and AIDS Empowerment Brunch every 1st Saturday in December in honor of World AIDS Day.

DO IT FOR ME hosts its signature and annual Empowerment Program, designed to inspire the mind, body and spirit of teen girls ages 13-17, to equip them to make healthy life choices. This program features a line-up of speakers, conversations and activities surrounding self-esteem, HIV prevention, boundaries, fitness, beauty, mental health and more. These young ladies always leave equipped to live a fruitful life by making healthy life choices.

Testimonials

"Testament time...this conference has brought me to tears. My child was holding a lot in and did not want to talk about her feelings, let alone talk. For the past three days, she has articulated her thoughts and feelings as well as opening herself up to meeting new people. I thank God for putting this on your heart and allowing it to come to fruition. May God continue to bless and keep you. I'm so full right now." -Dr. Juanetta McCarvy, parent of 2022 CHOICES Camp participant
