Dalai Lama Fellows

 

DLF is a distinctive global educational and social action initiative that aspires to help build a world that works for all. We identify and support young compassionate, ethical and courageous social innovators, working worldwide on original mentored projects at the intersection of peace, justice and ecology, aiming to solve problems of environmental devastation, poverty, violence, gender inequities and interethnic hostilities.

During their Project Year, Fellows are engaged in an intensive curriculum, beginning and ending with their attending a week-long Ethical Leadership Assembly (ELA), dedicated to Building Self-Mastery, Working Across Differences and Building Ethical Systems. 

Dalai Lama Fellows endeavors to network Fellows into a global community of mutualistic learning, service and action, intended to provide them with a lifelong reference point and support system.  

There are now 65 Dalai Lama Fellows, representing 25 nationalities. Including the 2014 Fellows, they will have launched more than 50 innovative and exemplary projects at locations throughout the world.
