For over 25 years, The Dale County Rescue Mission has been a center of hope for thousands of people in Dale County, the State of Alabama, northern Florida, and throughout the world.

Daily we provide emergency food to families in need, safe shelter for the homeless, clothing, and three nutritious meals a day - open to the public.

In addition to these basic needs, The Dale County Rescue Mission provides Biblical/Pastoral counseling to individuals and families, job skills and life skills to long-term residents, and emergency help to victims of fire and violent crimes.

As well, our Recycling Ministry is a leader in our region for recycling and renewable resources.  In 2011, we turned 271 tons of waste and raw goods into food, shelter, new jobs, job skills training, and other emergency services.

The Dale County Rescue Mission is active in reaching out to our neighbors, whether it is sending emergency food and supplies to tornado victims in North Alabama, or hurricane relief in Northern Florida, and emergency supplies and volunteers to efforts in Louisianna.

Our "neighbors" overseas have also been blessed by The Dale County Rescue Mission as we support local missionaries in their efforts to care for people like children in Nicaragua with clothing and supplies.

25 Years later, The Dale County Rescue Mission continues to serve people in cities such as Ozark, Daleville, Newton, Midland City, Ariton, Pinckard, Brundidge, Fort Rucker, Skipperville, Napier Field, Wicksburg, Troy.  Whatever we are called upon to do - whether providing food for the hungry, shelter for the homeless, disaster relief, recycling w goods, biblical counseling, nutrition for children, soup kitchen meals, emergency clothing, and more...we will continue to do all of this with excellence.
