Dallastown Cougar Athletics provides programs of supervised athletics for children without distinction as to race, creed, or national origin.  The Athletic Programs offered consist of Football, Cheerleading and Baseball.  The Mission of the Organization is to bring about, by percept, and by good example, high standards of sportsmanship, character building, citizenship, spiritual and physical development, and fellowship.  While also providing instruction, development progression, and recreation for children in the Dallastown area.

Cougar Family Story

The Cougar Organization has been an awesome part of the Jackson Households lives for many many years.  Our 3 kids grew up being a part of the baseball, football and cheer programs.  I truly believe it made a huge impact on our kids lives by learning many key elements of becoming a great adult.  How to be a part of a team, you don't always win in life, you need a life away from electronics, the list can go on and on...  We believed so much in this organization that my wife and I served on the board to try and help to increase and expand this outreach program to serve the maximum possible children in the Dallastown Community.  The quality of play/coaching was amazing for a group of dedicated volunteers.  We are so proud of the 15 years we spent involved in the Cougar Organization.  Within a year of leaving the organization from the role of Baseball Commissioner I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Melanoma cancer.  Well this Cougar Community showed up for me and showed up in a big way.  They had a special baseball game dedicated to help fund my cancer fight and all the love and support completely blew me away.  I thank God for this organization and how they rallied around me in the darkest day of my life.  My fight is far from over but I am on the path of recovery and am believing God for a full recovery.  Some of the most amazing friendships were created from meeting people in the Cougar Organization and our lives will be forever changed for being a part of such an incredible organization.
