Damascus Home of Redwater, Inc. exists to provide safe, non-medical treatment and recovery for men and women crippled by the effects of addiction. As a non-medical treatment and recovery program, the vision of Straight Street Restoration Center is to empower men through a evidence-based, faith-based, 12 step recovery program. We provide extensive spiritual application and life skills to help them discover hope and God's purpose for their lives.

Founded in 1995, Damascus Home of Redwater began with one drug and alcohol transitional home in Redwater, TX. In 2002, the ministry was incorporated, received its non-profit status and entered into a purchase agreement for our treatment center, Straight Street Restoration Center for men.

We are committed to improving lives in our community. Nine years ago, we purchased a pre-existing resale store, made substantial renovations, and re-opened in 2016 as Damascus Home Resale Store. It is located at 2604 New Boston Road in Texarkana, Texas. Profits from sales support the ministry and serve the Ark-La-Tex.

Through your generous donations, many more lives will be changed through the transformational work of The Gospel of Jesus Christ. Though Damascus Home Resale Store has proved a worthwhile endeavor and is meeting the objectives for which it is founded, we still need help of donors like you.
