Angel White Quills is the perfect example of how a little support can lead to great success. 

While few women choose welding as a career, Angel White Quills never thought being female should stand in her way. As a DATC Foundation scholarship and Presidential scholarship recipient, Angel succeeded from day one. 

"I’m so happy that I got some scholarships or I wouldn’t be here right now, which would be really sad. My scholarships will help me do all the classes that I want," Angel says.

Angel is now employed as a Teaching Assistant in DATC's Welding Technology program and is continuing her education. Angel has become an inspiration and a mentor to many new students and we are lucky to have her on our DATC team!

At Davis Applied Technology College, we change lives. Each year, nearly 600 students receive assistance in achieving their dreams with a scholarship donation from the Foundation or a tuition waiver through the College.

Without much-needed assistance, many students would not complete their education. DATC students and their families depend on the Foundation to help them reach a brighter future. Students like Angel demonstrate how a little help can go a long way!
