Your donation will assist us as we continue to honor men and women who desire to live in a community in which they are loved, nurtured, and empowered to be all they can be, and to live life to its fullest. 

Day Spring was founded in 1989 by families with loved ones who have intellectual disabilities. They realized that as each individual got older, those who were caregivers could not provide a home forever. This grassroots effort got momentum in the early 90's and by 1994, 14 residents moved in. In 2001, ground was broken on the Baxter Avenue Apartments were opened for 18 men and women. Later we opened Homes for four women and and Woods for six men and women.
