DCSRN was founded in 2008 with a desire to support new education reforms in the changing climate of public education in the District. In 2011, DCSRN launched the High Quality Schools Campaign, to provide free information, resources, and support to DC families. Since the program launched, the HQSC has assisted over 2,000 DC students to complete school choice applications.

DCSRN's Virtual School Tours provide busy parents with an easy way to evaluate multiple schools on their own schedules. The Virtual School Tour library on DCSRN's website contains 34 tours, and tours are filmed or updated every year.

Our Mission: To educate, organize and advocate to build support for public education strategies that prepare kids to become college and career ready.

Our Vision: We believe that public schools in DC can and should become the best in the nation and every student in DC should have a quality principal, teacher and school.
