Make accessing Affordable Housing easier this GiveSTL Day

DeSales Community Development is a community-based non-profit dedicated to the ongoing wellbeing of neighborhoods as healthy, diverse urban communities through housing development, property management and community services.  

Since 1976, DeSales has effectively addressed multifaceted challenges in St. Louis neighborhoods such as disinvestment, population decline, and vacancy. Through rehabilitating historic homes and providing affordable housing in Tower Grove East and Fox Park, entire blocks were revitalized. As a result, this area is now highly sought-after as a residential destination while maintaining quality, affordable, housing for those in need. 

Today, we are leveraging our past successes into building even more affordable housing. We are preparing to construct over 120+ new units of affordable housing in St. Louis City, 49 of which will be for low-income seniors. This is a time of massive growth for DeSales but we need your help. As we go about the business of building more housing we still have to maintain the homes in our current portfolio and fund the ongoing operations and programming offered to our low-income residents. 

A donation to DeSales will not just sit in a bank account. Your donation will immediately fund essential repairs to our affordable housing units as well as programs the support our residents such as financial education, homebuyer assistance, and summer youth programming.
