Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services

Our mission is to provide the highest quality of services and programs to promote empowerment, equal access, education, independence, and integrity to the deaf, hard of hearing, hearing loss and speech impaired communities. Through this mission DHHSF works towards the vision: "To better the quality of life for the deaf and hard of hearing community. We seek donations to assist our clients that have communication difficulties in preparing for day to day activities. These activities include job preparedness, on the job training, governmental issues, tax assistance, legal, medical, family issues and free amplified phones. Our goal is to promote self-sufficiency in the deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing loss community."

• We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to help deaf and hard of hearing persons with disabilities.

• We work closely with employers to monitor our client progress and to address their conferns.

• We serve in Hernando, Pasco, Pinellas and Hillsborough County.

• We are completely volunteer run organization.

• We provided a free amplified phones to meet the need of persons with a mild, moderate, or severe hearing loss.

Without your help, deaf, hard of hearing and hearing loss may face uncertain futures. Since 1983, almost 5,000 deaf, hard of hearing and hearing loss have benefited from our program. But we can't continue to do this without YOU!
