DecadesOut is a 501(c)(3) non-profit production and arts collective based in New York City. It takes its name from the inspiring words of President John F. Kennedy, who in 1961 said "I believe that this nation should commit itself to achieving the goal before this decade is out of landing a man on the moon and returning him safely to earth."
DecadesOut’s mission is to raise public awareness of the cultural impact between science and humanity and transform the discourse between them through an artistic platform. To accomplish this, DecadesOut supports, develops and produces works of fiction and non-fiction in the disciplines of theatre, film, visual arts, and digital media.

Thank you to all who have supported us since the beginning. As we enter our 14th year, we are excited not only to see our feature documentary to completion, but also to continue to develop new partnerships and projects.
