St. Michael's House
Depaul USA is launching St. Michael's House, a duplex that will provide supportive housing for refugee families. This will begin with families from Ukraine. St. Michael's House will allow these families to settle into their new lives in the U.S. by connecting residents to language classes, social services, employment opportunities, and schooling for their children. It will provide the space and time families need to assemble the resources required to move to independent housing.

St. Lazare House
St. Lazare House is the first permanent supportive housing program of its kind in St. Louis. This program offers 17 fully furnished one-bedroom apartments to homeless young people aged 18 to 24. With 24/7 care, St. Lazare House treats the trauma that comes from being young and living on the streets. Residents receive physical and behavioral health services, participate in education and training programs, and gain the life skills necessary to become independent and productive community members. Case management is provided in a safe and supportive environment.

Project PLUS and Project MORE
Between these two programs, Depaul USA houses and supports more than 80 chronic, disabled homeless people in scattered-site, one-bedroom apartments in the city of St. Louis. All of the participants in this program suffer from serious and persistent mental illness. Additionally, 90% have a co-occurring disorder such as: a chronic health issue, addiction, developmental disability and/or HIV. Many of our clients have not been able to be successful in the traditional care system and are without income and/or on fixed, low monthly income from a disability program.
