Didaque Ministries

For over a decade we have been wading through government red tape with the hopes of building a brand-new school.

Here is a video I sent to Community Christian Fellowship in Edmonds, WA. The thanks at the end extends any and all who have helped us get to this point.

Didaque was started over 25 years ago by Pastor Miguel. At the time, the kids that attended his church were unable to read or write. He thought, "How can we teach these kids about the Bible if they're unable to read it?". So, he started the elementary school, Didaque.

Our current classrooms have been in bad shape for as long as I've been in Tijuana. Now, with you're help, we have the opportunity to build a brand new school.

Since over 50 percent of our kids are in the special needs program, the new building is designed with wide hallways and doors, as well as a handicap accessible bathroom. Also in the plans is a separate multi-use classroom to be used by our music and special needs programs.

The numbers: We still need $200,000 to complete the construction estimate. The good news is that we have a very kind donor who is willing to match dollar for dollar up to $100,000. So, with your help, if we are able to raise $100,000, the kids of Didaque will have a brand-new school building!
