Dixie Care and Share is a community based non-profit that reflects the compassion and charity of the people of Southern Utah. Operating since 1980, Dixie Care and Share operates
two food banks/pantries (located in St George and Hurricane) and a transitional homeless shelter (located in St George). Our transitional shelter provides residents with platform from which they can reenter the mainstream through the use of  case management, referrals, life skills training, and the Renters Fresh Start program. For every $1 we recieve in donations we offer $12.50 in services and food.
  The goal of Dixie Care and Share is to assist all clients in reaching their maximum potential and to transition to mainstream society to the fullest extent possible.
