A laboratory for artists, Dixon Place (DP) is dedicated to supporting the creative process by presenting original works of theater, music, dance, puppetry, literature, variety, performance and visual art at all stages of development. This local haven encourages artists of all stripes and callings to take risks and push personal and professional limits. DP's foremost priorities are to serve as a safety net for artists, and to provide vivid experiences for audiences.

HOT!, the oldest continually running GBLTQ festival in the world, has been a pioneer of queer arts and culture for the past 20 years. Dixon Place is proud that HOT! serves as a model for other queer festivals across the globe, and offers an artistic refuge to so many passionate voices in our community.
