Dog Town

Harmony was hit by a car last November and ran off before the driver could find her. The next day, someone found her laying on the cold ground in South Tahoe.  Since her former owners no longer wanted her, we took responsibility for her to receive immediate treatment.

Harmony's pelvis was broken near the point where the halves come together. Her pelvis has healed, but she started having seizures. She has been on increasing doses of medication, but her seizures continue to worsen. She had eight seizures (02/08/15) and her behavior has radically changed.  We now fear that she may have more brain damage than first suspected.

We have received a referral to the neurologist with VCA Specialty Vets in Sacramento CA. The cost for an MRI is $2000, and we are hoping to raise enough money to provide her with one..

We don't know what the future holds for Harmony, but we do need help paying her medical bills. Anything you can spare is so much appreciated.
