Domestic Violence Project Inc

The Domestic Violence Project, Inc./SafeHouse Center provides support for those impacted by domestic violence or sexual assault. SafeHouse provides free and confidential services for any person victimized that lives or works in Washtenaw County, Michigan. Our services include emergency shelter for those in danger of being hurt or killed, counseling, legal advocacy, support groups, and especially, hope.

SafeHouse Center provides vital services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.  Our 24 hour response teams, crisis line and emergency shelter assist survivors immediately after an assault. Our services continue during the time following the assault when survivors are putting the pieces back together through our legal advocacy, counseling and support groups.  Through all of our programs and services, we serve over 5,000 survivors and their children each year.  All of our services are available to those who live and work in Washtenaw County and are confidential and provided at no cost to the survivor.
