ULAN helps every day people, who face hardship through no fault of their own.  Who knows when the wage earner or one of the wage earners in the household loses their job or has their hours reduced?  What about accidents or illness?  So many unexpected things can happen and ULAN is the place individuals and families turn to to prevent the bad situation from becoming worse.  And what can get worse?  Not having money to pay the rent or keeping the utilities from being shut off and not having food to eat.  ULAN helps and then ULAN works out a plan to help bring the client to self-sufficiency.
