Doorway to Peace Inc

"The mission of doorway to peace is to show compassion to the people of Haiti by strategically investing in community development projects to improve the physical, educational, and spiritual welfare of the people."

Doorway to Peace exists to support the people of Faugasse, Haiti. We do this by providing the opportunity to receive education, medical attention, clean water, and a place to worship.

The Organization started with a small school in the community to allow children who wouldn't normally be able to attend school to have a chance to further their education. Due to the success of the school in the area, we have expanded to provide medical care, with the completion of the Alercia Medical Clinic. Now residents in Faugasse have the chance to come see a nurse on a weekly basis, which is a rarity in Haiti.

We have also installed two wells, providing clean water to the community free of charge. Part of our future vision is to install a Reservoir, allowing residents of the community the opportunity to bring running water to their property.

We also support a local church. Currently, the church meets under an outdoor gazebo. After the earthquake, the church grew so much that they are now in need of a building to house the congregation. We are looking to build a church that can hold 400 people, as well as allow for space for training and prayer. We would love for you to participate in this project with us.
