The Dragonfly Harbor Inc

The Dragonfly Harbor stands in the gap in Louisiana to provide essential services to survivors of human trafficking and sexual abuse. We provide services to all survivors regardless of age, gender or trafficking type. We also work to increase resiliency in the community through awareness events, community/business trainings, and counseling services. Our agency works to fill the gap that cannot be covered by current programs, such as the increased need for trauma therapy, the need for services for those not in shelter programs, or for vulnerable populations that need continuity in care such as foster children. We are based in North Louisiana but able to serve survivors statewide. Because of this, we are able follow survivors as they establish themselves in the community as well as reach survivors in parishes with little or no existing resources.

Our heart is to help survivors heal, thrive, and regain independence in the community. On average, we serve 75-100 clients a year; however, we are working hard to increase that number as we always have more referrals than funding.
