DreamKeepers Mission
To support, empower and inspire women to improve
the future for themselves
and their children.

DreamKeepers supports the Mental Health Systems Family Recovery Center in Oceanside. The Family Recovery Center (FRC) is a residential program that offers women, many with young children, the opportunity to go through drug or alcohol recovery while keeping their family intact and preparing them to “re-enter” the work force.

We are proud to report that 90% of the babies born at the Family Recovery Center in the last year were drug free.

Recent projects include:

  1. Underwriting the very successful Worknet Solutions Program by providing necessary curriculum items, Fees and work appropriate attire. We also provide the fees for the GED courses as well as tuition and fees to get started in Community College and Career Training Schools for FRC Clients.
  2. Funding Summer and Holiday Camps for the children of clients.
  3. Providing everyday needs for the children such as diapers and layettes for the Babies born to Moms residing at FRC.
  4. Purchasing new educational items for the Child Development Center at FRC.
  5. Some of our past projects include building a toddler playground, renovating the Dining Room, Community Room and Career Center, refurbishing all the residential bedrooms, replacing kitchen appliances as well as laundry room washers and dryers.
