Dress for Success Southern Nevada

How we work

Dress for Success provides each woman with one suit when she has a job interview.  When she successfully lands the job, she returns for additional business-appropriate separates that will help her build a professional wardrobe.  She also receives an invitation to join the Professional Women’s Group, our employment retention program. 

Dress for Success serves job-ready women by referral only  from a range of non-profit organizations including domestic violence agencies, homeless shelters and job-training programs. Our clients represent all ethnicities and races, ranging in age from 16 to 60 years old. More than half of our clients are single mothers who are raising an average of 2-3 children and live under the poverty level prior to receiving Dress for Success’s services.

What we achieve

Our programs help women transition towards self-sufficiency by addressing their social and economic needs in relation to work, home and community.  We empower women to go from unemployment to economic independence.

How YOU can get involved

The Dress for Success Southern Nevada affiliate was founded in 2009 and is part of the international organization that has expanded to more than 150 cities in 28 countries globally. As we continue to serve more women year after year, we value your financial contribution as well as your clothing donation and volunteer hours, which enable us to continue our programs that have helped more than 3,500 women work towards self-sufficiency in the Las Vegas valley.
