Homebound and Adults with Disabilities:

Duet offers volunteer services free-of-charge to homebound elders and adults with disabilities – to help them remain living in their own homes. Caring volunteers provide grocery shopping, transportation to medical appointments, visits and phone calls, paperwork assistance, handyman services, respite, computer training, and home safety assessments.

Grandparents Raising Grandchildren

In Arizona, nearly 65,000 children are raised by grandparents or other relatives. By providing support to these families, Duet helps keep children out of foster care. These families receive help through our support groups, respite, group activities for families, benefit counseling, workshops, legal guidance, and accurate referral information - all free-of-charge.

Faith Community Nursing

Duet is a resource for faith communities and nurses who want to create and sustain health programs that help the “whole person” – in mind, body, and spirit. Duet provides educational opportunities, resources, presentations, and peer support to promote health and wellness in a congregational setting.

Caring for the Family Caregiver

Being a caregiver – someone who provides unpaid care for a loved one – can take a physical, mental, and emotional toll. If you take better care of yourself, you can take better care of your loved one. Duet helps you do just that. We provide support groups, respite, workshops, retreats, guidance, and accurate referral information.
