Dylan’s Wings of Change

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. We are a nonprofit foundation dedicated to the memory of Dylan Hockley, one of the first grade victims of the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School on December 14, 2012 We are guided by the "Butterfly Effect", how just small changes can accumulate with massive effect... the flap of a butterfly's wings might cause a hurricane.

In 2016 we created Wingman, an experiential learning based program that fosters empathy and connection among participants. Wingman is used in schools to implement meaningful peer leadership. Students receive 2 days of immersive training to become activity facilitators for younger the grades.

Schools enrolled in Wingman cover a portion of the program costs to ensure their commitment and engagement. Your donations ensure that no school is unable to join Wingman for lack of funding.
