"Today I know that I am not broken, damaged, or even stupid. I am no longer ashamed. I am successful because I’m dyslexic.”

Dyslexic Advantage's mission is to transform the way dyslexia is understood by creating a world where the strengths and talents of dyslexic people are celebrated and removing the barriers that exist in schools and workplaces so that every dyslexic child and adult can flourish in school, work, and life.

Dyslexic Advantage has one of the world's largest online communities for dyslexics, dyslexic families, and dyslexic professionals. We have extensive libraries of freeeducational and research materials to equip parents, students, and adults with the information they need to help them through challenges in education and the workplace. We need your support to keep this free and to meet our diverse communities' needs.

The Dyslexic Advantage Youtube Channel is the leading non-profit Dyslexia Channel  that share stories, interviews, and educational programs to reach more people about the the advantages of being dyslexic as well as practical school and life strategies.

Currently, Dyslexic Advantage has started a Dyslexic Gamemakers initiative to create a dyslexic-friendly and safe environment for any dyslexic student who wants to learn computer programming and game-based design. The effort is lead and supported by dyslexic engineers and artist in the game and media industries as well as by parents and teachers and other volunteers.

In March, Dyslexic Advantage is planning a 3-Part Dyslexia and Innovation Conference in the San Francisco area that will include leaders and innovators from diverse disciplines, and increase awareness of the importance of dyslexic thinkers the most ground-breaking fields and disciplines. The conference will consist of a leadership conference, a research conference in partnership with the University of California San Francisco, and open-to-the-public conference that will allow families and students to meet and talk to some of the world's greatest thinkers and doers who are also dyslexic.
