E Cubed Foundation

Seven small rural schools are sprinkled among the open hills of San Benito County. Some classrooms hold students from Kindergarten all the way up to the 8th grade. Many schools have a high Hispanic population and deal with the challenge of English as a second language.

E Cubed Foundation for Rural Schools has operated in San Benito County for over ten years. We are made up of small, all volunteer board. We represent ranching, farming, high tech, elementary school parents and dedicated business partners.

Through our efforts, E Cubed sponsors science and art classes, field trips to Yosemite, Pinnacles Park or San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. We have worked hard to keep some musical experience in the rural schools but with great difficulty. Some of our schools are very isolated. Still, we believe strongly that the student in a one room school house deserves a broadbased education like any other student today. With our commitment and the wonderful support of many others, we have been able to make a substantial difference in the quality of rural education in San Benito County.
